Eva Mattes, born December 14, 1954, in Tegernsee, Bavaria (West Germany), is a German actress with Austrian citizenship. She is also a singer and writer. Eva Mattes has been known since the 1970s as one of the most prominent actresses of the new German cinema. Since 2002, she has played Konstanz City Commissioner Klara Blum in the television series Tatort. Eva Mattes also appears in numerous radio plays and records audio books. She has been singing since 2006. Eva Mattes is the daughter of actress Margit Symo.
