Rafaela Aparicio, born April 9, 1906 in Marbella and died June 9, 1996 in Madrid, is a Spanish actress and two-time Goya Award winner. She is particularly known for her roles as a proletarian in numerous comedies, often alongside Florinda Chico, and sometimes for great directors such as Fernando Fernán Gómez, Carlos Saura, or Víctor Erice. She is one of seven actresses to date to have received the National Film Award from the Spanish Ministry of Culture, along with Carmen Maura, María Luisa Ponte, Marisa Paredes, Mercedes Sampietro, Maribel Verdú, and Ángela Molina.
