Guillaume Laurant is a self-taught French screenwriter and writer born on November 22, 1961, in Saint Quentin. A member of the WGA and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, he is also a permanent juror for the Claude Chabrol Literary Prize (a crime novel adaptable for film) and president of the Cabourg Festival. He graduated from the French boxing and related disciplines instructor program in 1986.
